The successful candidate for our Mitigation Technician position will report directly to the Mitigation Operations Manager.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Mitigation Lead Technician and team on all damage, tear-out and cleaning claims.  This position is highly versatile and always evolving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist in damage assessments by communicating details such as moisture mapping, temperature, and dehumidifier readings, as well as customer concerns and requests.
  • Investigate cause of loss, origin, category of water to determine next steps in the process.
  • Recovery, demo and cleaning for drywall, carpet, flooring, woodwork, trim and moldings, doors, removing windows, removing hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets.
  • Communicate with team and customers daily on projects and processes. 
  • Constantly learning and adapting to change.
  • Manage inventory and fleet maintenance.
  • Perform 24-hour on-call responsibilities in accordance with established schedules.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
  • Complete timesheets and expense reports weekly.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education /Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Ability to complete job-related classes and maintain IICRC Certifications
