The successful candidate for our Project Manager position will report directly to a Senior Project Manager.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the details and logistics of a restoration project in addition to assisting in estimating and collections when needed.  Periodic marketing and sales responsibilities are also expected.

Key Responsibilities

Sales / Estimating – proficient in the use of Xactimate
  • Assist Senior Project Manager with scoping losses
  • Prepare and calculate estimates to meet customer requirements in a timely and efficient manner
  • Capable of explaining the services provided by Phoenix
  • Provide extraordinary customer service through listening and addressing the unique needs, personalities and circumstances of each customer
  • Assist Senior Project Manager in obtaining all documentation needed for the project.  This includes, but is not limited to, signed repair authorization, signed change orders, supplement approval when necessary, and lead and asbestos forms
Production – proactively manage projects; on time and on budget
  • Procure materials for job sites
  • Schedule internal production trades, external vendors, suppliers and sub-contractors for job sites utilizing critical path methodology
  • Prepare work orders for sub-contractors and field employees so as to define scope of work, time expectations for completion and/or maximum dollar budgets
  • Obtain necessary permits for job sites
  • Schedule required inspections and meet inspectors at job sites
  • Prepare and monitor work-cycle schedule and keep the client informed about job progress
  • Assist Senior Project Manager with budgeting individual jobs
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously utilizing precise scheduling and organizational skills
  • Perform minor construction-related duties, such as assisting with punch-list items
 
Collections – assist Senior Project Manager with account receivables collection process by proactively contacting mortgage companies, insurance companies and homeowners to collect and receive payment in a timely manner
 
Perform miscellaneous administrative duties, as assigned, relating to overall business operation.
 
Be a brand ambassador for Phoenix
 
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education /Qualifications

  • Project Management: 1-3 Years’ industry experience or residential project management a plus (Construction preferred but not required)
  • Commercial Project Management experience a plus but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Construction (Preferred)
